SI-TBMA Conservation Fellowship
An exciting opportunity for the selected fellow to conduct independent research in the conservation of time-based and digital media across multiple Smithsonian museums. The potential sites include the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum (CHSDM), the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (HMSG), the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), the National Portrait Gallery (NPG), and the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM). Eligibility: Candidates should possess an advanced degree in the preservation or conservation of time-based or digital media, or related fields such as computer science.
Term: Two years.
Stipend: $62,000.00 annual stipend. $5,000 annual health allowance. Up to $3,000.00 annual research allowance, pending budget approval.
