Baird Society Resident Scholar Program

Due to the pandemic, SLA is not able to run the fellowship season for the Dibner Library Resident Scholar Program and the Baird Society Resident Scholar Program for the Academic Year of 2022-2023. We are in the process of posting this information on our web site and hope to continue the fellowship programs in the following year.
The Baird Society Resident Scholar Program supports scholarly research in all 16 Special Collections of the Smithsonian Libraries in an extensive range of subject areas.
Eligibility
Pre- and post doctoral fellows, as well as independent scholars.
Term
1-6 months.
Stipend
$3,500 per month.
Notification Date
July annually.
